AMÉRICA VIVA! THE SHOW
'América Viva! The Show’ is an artistic program that involves the production of the show América Viva! as an expression of the mestizaje of the Americas, narrating how a mestizo soul was born out of the mixture of Indigenous, African and Spanish cultures, delivering a message of coexistence, tolerance and understanding. Praised in 2005 by The Scotsman as “probably the most exciting history lesson you will ever experience” at the biggest arts festival on earth (The Edinburgh Fringe) the show has delighted audiences in countries such as Holland, Germany, Scotland, Switzerland, Argentina, Mexico, United States of America, England, Taiwan and Venezuela, being widely celebrated by the press. The production embraces performers of all ages and skill levels, fostering an inclusive and enriching artistic experience for a diverse community.
AMÉRICA VIVA! THE CLASS
'América Viva! The Class' is an educational program developed by New Land Theatricals to prepare performers and future leaders. These young potential leaders, known as 'Junior Ambassadors', receive training not only in dance but also in holistic physical and verbal expression, as well as personal development. The program aims to empower participants to inspire and positively influence others based on the organization's values and mission. The ultimate goal is to expand the program’s educational impact by equipping these young leaders to inspire, teach, and pass on their knowledge within their communities.
The program equips these young performers to present signature shows, such as América Viva!, to Miami-Dade Public Schools students. Through these theatrical performances, students are immersed in subjects like history, geography, and literature, with the show serving as a medium for transforming learning into an engaging and meaningful experience. This cross-curricular approach fosters deeper understanding while ensuring that education remains both enjoyable and entertaining.
